CHICAGO -- Spring isn't here yet.
Sunday?s weather may have been a breath of fresh air from cloudy and snowy days, but the sunshine won't last, according to NBC Chicago?s Cheryl Scott.
Snow is expected to hit the Chicagoland area late Monday with snowfalls accumulating from 3-6 inches.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch for northern Illinois and northwest Indiana beginning Monday night and continuing through Tuesday.

The snow is projected to accumulate Tuesday and some of Wednesday and could cause heavier traffic for commuters, especially along Interstate 80.
Traffic conditions will also be increasingly affected by the recent CTA closures along the Wells Street Bridge.
Commuters are advised to plan for timely travels.
