You can expect lots of life in them. b.Look for the manufacturer?s name, model number and year of manufacture details. Some companies keep features minimal but are great on ruggedness. These are the types of machines that seldom fail in performance. Go for it if features don?t make any difference for you. Some features are simply fancies. Little are they practically useful. c.If there is a residue warranty then it is a great buy. A residuary warranty ensures that you have the manufacturers behind you for the rest of the equipments lifetime. You will get free servicing and in some cases an equipment replacement or spares replacement. If the original owner has bought an annual/lifetime maintenance warranty then get it transferred to your name. d.In no case buy pre-owned equipment without all the essential software in place. Remember that software costs frequently exceed equipment cost itself. Besides, getting older compatible software is difficult. See to it that the software is eligible to receive updates as and when they are released for users.
Selling used communication equipment tips:
a.When you sell a communication equipment put yourself into the buyer?s place. Be honest about when you bought the product and how much you have used it. If you have extracted the most out of it, tell the buyer about that. If you have an extended warranty transfer you rights along, so that the buyer will benefit. b.Make a realistic appraisal of what the equipment is worth. Never try to make a big profit out of selling them. Remember that someone is buying your equipment because they cannot afford the cost of buying a new one. If you don?t have use for some software that you go it as a giveaway then better include that in the sale. Perhaps the buyer can find some use for it. c.Along with the equipment give a copy of the invoice to support all your claims on the age of the equipment. If you have any issues with the vendor let the buyer know about that too. That by itself will win the respect of the buyer. Handover all the spares for which you have no use.
