Changes
The New England Patriots won?t have Wes Welker anymore since he is in Denver and they won?t have Aaron Hernandez who is in jail. They also may start the season without tight end Rob Gronkowski. Many people are down on the team because of their losses but the team did add Danny Amendola who can take Welker?s spot and since when has it mattered who was catching the ball from Brady?
New England Patriots 2013 Schedule Analysis
The New England Patriots should start the season at 3-0 as they visit the Buffalo Bills and then host the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They then have two tough road games at the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals.
They then host the New Orleans Saints before a road game against the New York Jets. They get two straight home games against the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers. I think the team will be either 6-3 or 7-2 after their first nine games. They have a winnable game on the road against the Carolina Panthers and then a home game against the Denver Broncos.
They have a tough one at the Houston Texans followed by a layup at home against the Cleveland Browns. They close with road games at the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens and a home game against the Buffalo Bills.
I think the oddsmakers did a pretty good job with the total for this team. I would probably lean with the over in NFL futures as I don?t see this team winning less than 10 games and another 12-4 season is definitely possible in 2013.
